We're hiring a Senior Security Consultant who is not only confident in cybersecurity and compliance best practices but also passionate about business growth. This hybrid position blends consulting, client engagement, and solution-based sales.
You’ll represent our services to clients, help them meet compliance needs, and support the delivery of recurring cybersecurity solutions — all while building trust that leads to long-term growth.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities
Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and compliance posture reviews (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001)
Translate technical risks into actionable business recommendations
Guide clients through security awareness programs, onboarding, and SOP adoption
Assist with audits, RFP responses, and regulatory compliance documentation
Use internal tools (HaloPSA, templates, and vCISO toolkit) to streamline delivery
🔍 Cybersecurity & Compliance
🤝 Client Engagement & Delivery
Serve as a point of contact for assigned clients, helping them understand and implement security controls
Prepare and present client-facing reports (e.g., security dashboards, tabletop summaries)
Lead or support incident response tabletop exercises and periodic security reviews
Collaborate with internal teams to escalate or resolve complex client issues
Assist in developing retainer proposals, SLAs, and recurring service plans
💼 Business Development & Sales Enablement
Support sales meetings, demos, and proposals by acting as a subject matter expert
Identify upsell opportunities for security services (e.g., MDR, SIEM, awareness training)
Build trusted relationships that generate referrals and word-of-mouth leads
Contribute to pitch decks, solution bundles, and RFP submissions
Bring in new business through your own local connections (if applicable)

🚀 What We Offer
✅ Ideal Candidate
CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent cybersecurity certification (Required)
3–7 years experience in security consulting, IT compliance, or managed services
Comfortable communicating technical content to business leaders
Experience preparing audit documentation or responding to vendor questionnaires
Bonus: background in sales, technical pre-sales, or solutions architecture
Self-driven and structured, with strong writing and documentation skills
Familiarity with PSA tools (e.g., HaloPSA, ServiceNow, ConnectWise)
Based in Clarington, Durham Region, or GTA (preferred) — or willing to travel occasionally
